Metric Wins Big At Juno Awards

Canada's music awards known as the Juno Awards had its big awards ceremony Sunday night in St. Johns, Newfoundland.

Some interesting winners were Metric (Group of the Year), Metric again (Alternative Album of the Year), Bell Orchestre (Instrumental Album of the Year), and Deadmau5 (Dance Recording of the Year).

The Juno Awards is a week long appreciation of Canadian music that ran from April 12th - 18th in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. It was broadcast live on CTV at the Mile One Centre on Sunday, April 18th.

Toronto will be hosting the 40th Juno Awards in 2011.
