The The Detroit Electronic Music Festival (DEMF) festival is on again in Detroit. Known now as Movement, the festival has been handed off from techno pioneer Derrick May to his protege Kevin Saunderson, and finally to Detroit-based electronic music promotion company Paxahau.

DJ Koze, Plastikman, Ghostland Observatory, Ricardo Villalobos, and Woody Mcbride are all part of this year's show. Tickets are on sale now. Check out the complete 2010 lineup.

Movement is still considered to be true to its roots and the history of electronic music in Detroit, widely considered to be the the birthplace of techno. The 2010 lineup has a diverse roster of established acts alongside up-and-coming artists.

As for 2010 ... a 36 hour party spread across four stages with almost 100 artists performing in the location of Hart Plaza in downtown Detroit. This will be the 10th anniversary of the Detroit Electronic Music Festival.

Movement 2010 will take place May 29-30 on Hart Plaza in Detroit.
