Broken Social Scene have announced a whole bunch of new tour dates for this Fall in support of their new album, Forgiveness Rock Record. Shows will include stops at the Sasquatch! Festival over Memorial Day weekend, the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago, Oxegen Festival and Splendour In The Grass in Australia. It pretty much looks like worlwide festival action for BSS.

Forgiveness Rock Record was co-produced by Broken Social Scene and John McEntire (Tortoise) at Soma Studios in Chicago They released the track "World Sick" earlier this year.

There's an updated band line up for the new album, with a mix of some of the old players and a few new ones: Kevin Drew, Brendan Canning, Justin Peroff, Charles Spearin,  Andrew Whiteman, and Sam Goldberg.

Broken Social Scene is also involved in music for various film projects including Daydream Nation, It’s Kind Of A Funny Story, and This Movie Is Broken.
