At this weekend's Primavera Sound Festival, Pavement launched their set with the epic hit single "Cut Your Hair." Pixies gave the crowd so much energy that audience was set to explode. The XX performed as day turned to night, and gave an atmospheric performance in the rain that was mystifying. Broken Social Scene were solid as well.

The Primavera Sound Festival had six different stages including an All Tomorrow's Parties stage and a Pitchfork Stage. They featured independent and up and coming acts alongside more established bands for a couple of days in the sun (and rain) not easily forgotten.
