The The Detroit Electronic Music Festival (DEMF) went down in Detroit's Hart Plaza over the weekend, with three days of music and lights. Known now as Movement, the Memorial Day weekend festival is the electronic music version of a pilgrammage to the homeland.

As for 2010 ... it was a 36 hour party spread across four stages with almost 100 artists performing. This was the 10th anniversary of the Detroit Electronic Music Festival.
