The Glastonbury Festival has announced the lineups for the Stonebridge bar and Rabbit Hole for this year's festival.
The Stonebridge Bar is the Glastonbury Festival's pub for psychedelic rock-'n-roll, reggae, house, disco, dancehall, soul and more. It features DJ sets from Four Tet, Greco-Roman, The Heavenly Jukebox, Joe Hot Chip, and more. Glastonbury organizers call it "a great soundtrack by day, and an alternative dance party by night." And beer.
The Rabbit Hole is everything its name suggests, a psychedelic smattering "from tea party to trance party" for your underground music, theatre and cinema needs. The lineup is curated by Radio 1 DJ Annie Nightingale and boasts Glastonbury's featuring of Freebase, a group formed by Peter Hook (New Order), Andy Rourke (The Smiths) and Mani (Stone Roses).
This will be no small Glastonbury Festival, as 2010 is the 40 year anniversary of the first Glastonbury experience. As a result, they'll be expanding the non-music festivities, and trying to get the best lineup that they can.
"People are very interested in this 40 year thing. Everywhere I go, people are asking about. The expectations are really high. So we have to deliver on that. We're trying to get the best headliners in the world."
Glastonbury is set to take place June 25 - 27. Check out the Spacelab Festival Guide for more information on the Glastonbury Festival lineup, tickets, and other details.
