A few weeks ago, the news of TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek solo project Maximum Balloon was quietly announced with the launch of a MySpace page. Today we know some of the people who will make an appearance on the album, and get to hear a track called "Tiger."

"Tiger" was released as a single on June 15th.

"The whole album surprisingly came together from that one song. We realised we could lay down a track as creatively as we wanted and we wouldn't have to worry about our respective bands. That inspired me to work in the same way with the other singers," said Dave Sitek when speaking to NME.

He recorded the album in his LA home studio. So far, the project includes Karen O, Holly Miranda, Yukimi Nagano (Little Dragon), Theophilus London, Aku Orraca-Tetch (Dragons of Zynth), and of course Tunde Adebimpe and Kyp Malone from TV on the Radio.

Maximum Balloon is due out on August 24th via DGC/Interscope.
