British band Pulp and former band of a wiley Jarvis Cocker have decided that 2011 is high time to get the band back together! They're reforming to play both the Primavera Festival in Barcelona, Spain and a headling spot at the Wireless Festival in London.
They're promising the original band, too, for the first time since 1996. That means Nick Banks, Jarviss Cocker, Candida Doyle, Steve Mackey, Russel Senior and Mark Webber. Tickets for the Wireless Festival will go on sale this Friday, Nov. 12.
Here's the official statement from the Pulp web site:
"Pulp have decided to get together and play some concerts next summer. The shows will involve all the original members of the band (Nick Banks, Jarvis Cocker, Candida Doyle, Steve Mackey, Russell Senior & Mark Webber) and they will be playing songs from all periods of their career. (Yes, that means they'll be playing your favourites). If you wish to know any more then please visit www.pulppeople.com where you will be subjected to a barrage of cryptic questions. In the meantime ask yourself this: "Do You Remember The First Time?" |
