The 2011 Sonar Festival has started trotting out acts for next year's gig ... and so far the names include Underworld, A-Trak, Salem, Tyondai Braxton, Little Dragon, avante-garde composer Steve Reich and dubstep act Magnetic Man. Check out the Spacelab Festival Guide for more information on the Sonar Festival.

Sónar is Spain's mashup of music and film and video, all rolled into one big multimedia festival. You get installation art, audiovisual concerts, and medialab presentations next to DJ sets, electonic music, film and more. It's the new media jet set in the heart of Europe.

Steve Reich will play at Sonar Barcelona, while Magnetic Man will play both Sonar Barcelona and the newly added Sonar Galicia. Last year's Sónar Festival decided to split and double down with two locations, a first for the Spanish music and art festival. In addition to its regular home of Barcelona, it added a new location in A Coruña, which played host to Sónar Galicia.

Check out the Spacelab Festival Guide for more information on the Sonar Festival line up, tickets, and other details. Check out video from past years at the Sonar Festival Media page.
