Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead is set to release his Norwegian Wood soundtrack on Mar. 7. It's the score for a Japanese film adaptation of Haruki Murakami's 1987 novel. Jonny will release the soundtrack right before Norwegian Wood's theatrical release on Mar. 11. Check out a trailer preview of the film on the Spacelab Media Player.

Jonny based the Norwegian Wood film score on his "Doghouse" composition he recently wrote for the BBC Concert Orchestra. The Norwegian Wood score was performed by Greenwood, the BBC Concert Orchestra and the Emperor Quartet.

Jonny Greenwood is no stranger to the film score thing, after doing the original scores for There Will Be Blood and Bodysong. Norwegian Wood will be his third score.

Also on tap from Jonny and Radiohead is a new album, (hopefully) due for release this year. It appears that Radiohead is contemplating how to release the new album as an important component of the whole package.
