Black Lips are ready to release their new album Arabia Mountain, due out on June 7 via Vice Recordings. It will be their sixth studio album and the follow up to 2009's 200 Million Thousand. It was recorded at MetroSonic in Brooklyn.

Arabia Mountain was produced by Mark Ronson, and the Lips were excited about the fresh ideas he brought in to the sessions. He didn't want to orchestrate a big change in the band's approach, but go about how they recorded the music different than they had in the past.

"It was cool to be able to experiment with different instruments and sounds, just to have the resources to do that. He knows a lot of people that are really good musicians, so it was pretty fun to just have those options. Another cool thing about Mark: he was very clear at the beginning that he didn't want to come in and do something crazy. We definitely weren't going to have big synthesizers or anything like that. He was really into the fuzz tone. We like to have really good-sounding fuzz, and he was big on helping us work on getting that," he said when speaking to Pitchfork.

They also have the recently released new video for the song “Go Out and Get It!” that they filmed on their Bruise Cruise show with the Vivian Girls and other bands. You can watch the video above.
