The End of the Road Festival has added Brakes, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Diagrams, The Love Language, Zola Jesus and more to the 2011 lineup. Check out a full line up in the Festival Guide.
End of the Road takes place in the Larmer Tree Gardens, an intimate setting between North Dorset and Wiltshire, a few hours from London. The dates for the End of the Road Festival are September 2 - 4. Tickets are still available at prices from £55 - £145 based on age, and include camping.
The End of the Road festival was developed by Simon Taffe and Sofia Hagberg, who joked about how awesome it would be to put together their “perfect” festival with all of their favorite bands. Simon Taffe runs a painting and decorating business and had never originally put together a concert or even a gig in his life. Sofia Hagberg knew how to organize events and handle public relations because she already represented several artists and handled their bookings. The longtime friends turned a joke into a dreamlike-reality and are sharing the fun with anyone who can swing it.
The End of the Road Festival plays host to campsites, two stages where DJ’s will play music until 2am, exotic gardens with roaming birds of paradise, organic food….and beer tents with only the best beer in the world.
