Cornershop Starts The Singhles Club Subscription

Cornershop has started a new subscription service for Cornershop music called "The Singlhes Club," a nice play on band member Tjinder Singh's name. It will offer fans six songs to download for $10, starting with the song "Non-Stop Radio," which features vocals by Celeste. You can check out the video for the song above, it was done with the help of Rocket Science Lab from Bangalore.

"Non Stop Radio" will first be made available on May 30, and then each new song will be made available on an ongoing basis.

Other Cornershop plans incude playing a few shows over the Summer, including the Manchester International Festival with the likes of Damon Albarn and Bjork. Cornershop are also collaborating with animator-illustrators Rude to create music & video elements for the "Pop O Motion" installation at MIF.

The last full length album released by Cornershop was The Double O Groove Of, featuring Bubbley Kaur. The album is the perfect mix of east meets west, Indian music mixed with western beats and stylings.
