Scotland's T in the Park Festival has added Patrick Wolf, Molotov Jukebox, Alice Gold, Thrum, Kitty Daisy & Lewis, Rival Sons and more to their 2011 incarnation of the festival. Check out the complete 2011 T In the Park lineup.
The festival has added more local flavor (does that make them festival locavores?) with the addition of Scottish acts like Clanadonia, Dunragan, Koda, The Picts and more.
T in the Park is one of the largest festivals in the U.K., making itself the 2 day home for up to 60,000 people in the Scottish countryside. Moors. Fog. And lots of intoxicated festivalgoers. There are over 120 artists performing across 8 stages over 2 days in Balado, Kinross.
The festival has become known as the Scottish counterpart to Ireland's Oxegen Festival. The two festivals have fallen into having similar line ups on the same weekend, with bands playing opposite days in opposite festivals to cater to audiences in both countries.
T In The Park tickets are completely sold out.
The festival recently named the acts for its T Break Stage, an area devoted to Scotland's grassroots music scene. Scottish bands send demos to vye for one of 16 spots on the T Break Stage.
