This year, the iTunes Festival in London will be a worldwide event, thanks to the app that Apple has just launched. It will feature live streaming of the performances as well as archived video after the festival is over. The official name for the app is iTunes Festival London 2011, but on the device it shows up as iTunes Live.

The iTunes Festival goes down July 1-31 at the Roundhouse in London. It features 62 acts in total, including Mogwai, Arctic Monkeys, Gwyneth Paltrow, Moby+Silver Apples, Foo Fighters, and more. Check out the full iTunes Festival 2011 lineup.

The iTunes Festival London 2011 app will of course feature the festival schedule, as well as the artist bios and news about the event. It's available for the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and even Apple TV.
