Arcade Fire Win Award for 'Wilderness Downtown' Video

The Arcade Fire video for "The Wilderness Downtown" has won a Cyber Grand Prix award at the 2011 Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity. The video features the Arcade Fire song "We Used to Wait" off of "The Suburbs," and is an HTML 5-enabled experience that juxtaposes Google Maps images and Google Streetview with the lyrics of the Arcade Fire song.

The video was created by Chris Milk, Aaron Koblin, Google Creative Lab, B-Reel and @radical.media. It's an interactive video that allows you to enter in your home address, then Google Maps and Streetview work that location into what is rendered in the Arcade Fire video.
