| Domino Records recently signed indie rock / hazy surf psychedelic band Real Estate, with members from Ducktails and Alex Bleeker and the Freaks, with the announcement that they would release a full length album in October of this year, and subsequent work after that.
Today we have news of the new Real Estate release, in the form of the minimally-titled album Days, due out on Oct.18. Domino Records will also release work from Ducktails and Alex Bleeker and the Freaks in the future.
The first Real Estate single, "It's Real," is out now (check it above) and will be released as a 7' single on Sept. 27, with the b-side "Blue Lebaron. Fortunately for you, dear reader, you can lay your hands (OK, mouse) on a copy now by clicking on the "MP3" button in the player above. It's sheer digital alchemy.
In the meantime, the Real Estate tour for the Summer involves a lot shows with Dent May and an appearance at Brooklyn's Prospect Park Bandshell with The Feelies & Times New Viking in July.
