Ultra-pure industrial act Skinny Puppy is ready for the next phase with their new album Handover. The news has come via Slicing Up Eyeballs, with the new project including Nivek Ogre and cEvin Key on 11 new tracks of Skinny Puppy darkness. With influences like Throbbing Gristle and Cabaret Voltaire, and having worked with Al Jourgenson (Ministry), Skinny Puppy have true industrial bona fides.
Handover is due on Oct. 25 in the U.S. and Oct. 28 in Europe, mysteriously before Halloween. #Soundtracking, indeed. This could be the ultimate gothic industrial soundtrack for 2011. Check out advance samples of Handover at the SPV web site.
