Iggy & the Stooges are releasing their Raw Power Live DVD next month, with a recounting of their "Raw Power" performance at last year's All Tomorrow's Parties in New York. It'll include classic songs "Search and Destroy," "Raw Power" and "Gimmie Danger" as the band ripped through the the album in full. What's more, the Raw Power Live DVD is the product of a crowdsourced effort that had included a contest called In the Hands of the Fans, which involved a contest for fans to submit footage, then a winner was allowed to do a HD video shoot of the All Tomorrow's Parties Raw Power performance.

"Getting this top-notch performance of the entire Raw Power album by The Stooges realized a life long dream. This shit really sizzles and we are so obviously a crack band in a class of our own," said Iggy in mock sarcasm modesty about the show.

Check out the video above for a sample, it's due out on Sept. 27. In the meantime, they're offering a free download of the performance in exchange for an email, so give "the man" a hand for In the Hands of the Fans.
