El-P does more than just go on Twitter and prolifically tweet about matters of the world these days ... namely he's been putting together a new album that's going to be released on his new home of Fat Possum Records. He's got the working title of Cancer for Cure right now, and will be releasing the album sometime in 2012. That's good, because we just heard from Ben Bernake that the U.S. economy is going to be horrible until at least 2013, so some new music from El-P should help ease the pain.

In the meantime, there's a new El-P single floating around called "drones over BKLYN (censored mix)" that's part of this Summer's Adult Swim Singles Series. You can listen to it in the player above, or head over to the Adult Swim web site for a download.

"The man is back with a brand new single titled "Drones Over BKLYN" via the Adult Swim Singles Program 2011. Check it out below! Hopefully this will tide you over for a bit until the highly anticipated follow up to I'll Sleep When You're Dead hits stores," reads the announcement on the Definitive Jux web site.
