| Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross will are creating the film score for the U.S. remake of the movie The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, and the film is due out out at the end of 2011 and features Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara. The soundtrack for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo will be string-heavy, as in orchestral strings and will be performance-based (which presumably means recorded live rather than separate multi tracks). Maybe this is a new permanent part of Trent Reznor's repertoire? Dark film scores?
Now there's a sampling of the film score online, after Trent noted on Twitter that the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo web site had launched. Radio station 107.7 The End captured the audio and put it online via SoundCloud, so check it out above!
