Research In Motion (RIM) is rolling out a new BlackBerry Music service, reports Forbes. We can throw this on the heap of streaming music services announced this Summer (I think we passed 10 sometime around mid-summer) and call mobile music a feature as common as texting or voicemail. It will be a cloud-based streaming music service for BlackBerry devices, and shows BlackBerry arriving unbelievably late to the party. It's no wonder that they're a fading star.
RIM is negotiating with Universal, Sony, Warner and EMI to launch a streaming music service for the BlackBerry Messenger service in the next few months, possibly as soon as next month.
