| New Order is set to return this Fall with two live shows scheduled in October. The reformation of New Order appears to be a tumultuous one, with Gillian Gilbert returning for the first time in ten years, but Peter Hook will be conspicuously absent.
Gillian Gilbert will join Bernard Sumner, Stephen Morris, Phil Cunningham and Tom Chapman in two shows in Brussels and Paris. They're benefit shows to support health issues with friend and New Order video producer Michael Shamberg. Peter Hook and New Order had a falling out in 2007, and it seems hard to imagine the band without him, but the show goes on. Tom Chapman will fill in on Bass, and you might know Tom from frontman Bernard Sumner's Bad Lieutenant project. |
