A Stephen Colbert Radiohead special edition is happening on The Colbert Report on Sept. 26. Radiohead will be both the guests and the musical guest on the show.

They'll play four songs in total, including material from Radiohead's The King of Limbs album, plus the new and unreleased track "The Daily Mail" and a fourth song as part of the online-only version. You know the media landscape is shifting when the primary focus for extras is on the web version rather than the cable TV version.

Stephen Colbert issued true irony in the press statement: ""I look forward to meeting the Radioheads and leveraging their anti-corporate indie cred to raise brand awareness for my sponsors." Right on the mark with the sarcasm.

Colbert Report tickets are hard to come by, but worth tracking over time to see what's available.

Radiohead is also set to play Saturday Night Live a few days before.
