Listen to Yuck: "Soothe Me"

Yuck has been receiving a lot of space on Spacelab lately, due to influences like My Bloody Valentine, Sonic Youth, Sebadoh and even The Lemonheads. I'm not sure where this track "Sooth Me" arrives in terms of influences, but it's definitely different that previous video offerings of "Rubber" and "Milkshake," perhaps more indie pop. Yuck's self-titled debut album arrives via Fat Possum Records on Oct. 10, with six bonus tracks.

If there ever was a band that was tailor-made for the Noise Pop Music Festival in San Francisco, Yuck would be it. Hopefully they'll be on this year's Noise Pop lineup -- until then, there's always the reissued album.
