The Cure are releasing a double album next month taken from their performance at this year's Bestival. Titled The Cure : Bestival Live 2011, it will be the the first live album from The Cure since Show and Paris releases, according to Slicing Up Eyeballs. It's a double album and consists of two CDs with 32 songs, including “The Lovecats,” “The Caterpillar,” “Close To Me,” “Lullaby,” “Just Like Heaven” and “Boys Don’t Cry”.It will also be available in a download version. The Cure: Bestival Live 2011 will be releasd on Dec. 5/6 and all profits from the sale of the album will go to the Isle of Wight Youth Trust.
The Cure are performing their "Reflections" show in both the U.S. and Europe this month, a small "tour" that features shows in New York, Los Angeles and London. The Cure's Reflections show features the band playing multiple full albums in full, namely Three Imaginary Boys, Seventeen Seconds and Faith. Tickets for The Cure : Reflections are on sale now.The actual dates for the shows are London (NOV 15), Los Angeles (NOV 21-23), New York (NOV 25-27).
The band also offered a repackaged version Disintegration last year that included rarities and the classic live performance from a 1989 show at London's Wembley Arena, which you may know under its title Entreat. |
