Tim Fite is so ahead of his time. The indie rock / hip hop provocateur showed up on Wall Street to stage a one-man protest against the system ... a year ago. That's so ironically indie rock - he was down with #occupy before it was cool to be down with the #occupy movement. Standing in front of the Merrill Lynch bull, he dedicated a song to "anybody who's worked really hard, but not made any money." He's using a geeky key-tar (it might even be Casio, furthering his symbolism of the plight of a struggling musician - he's gotta use K-Mart audio instruments cause' the man kept him down!) ... He calls the song "WYNPM," which stands for "Why You No Pay Me." Somebody go buy his album over at the Anti Records web site.
