VIDEO: Aphex Twin Writes Orchestra Movement ... Then Conducts Show Remotely Via Video Conference

Never one to shy away from a challenge that can be done from his own studio, Aphex Twin recently just conducted 48 piece string section and a 24 strong choir by remote control. It was comisioned by European culture congress in Poland, and includes mind-bending performances from both the orchestra and Mr Richard James, a.k.a. Aphex Twin (who conducted from his bunker in astyle akin to a James Bond villian who has remote access to the world via video conference. Check his hands conductiing midi controllers to remote visual cues that the orchestra then interpreted into music. All of that and they only had one rehearsal!
