Karen O and Yeah Yeah Yeahs Are Writing New Music

Karen O from Yeah Yeah Yeahs has been out doing publicity for her contribution to The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo soundtrack with “Immigrant Song,” and while doing an interview with Trent Reznor for The Sun, she said that she had been working on new material with her band Yeah Yeah Yeahs as well. "... And I've also been tinkering around on some new Yeah Yeah Yeahs music with the boys" she mentioned casually during the interview.

She also talked about her Stop The Virgens rock opera she recently performed in New York. "It's a psycho rock opera in New York which was amazing and we want to take it to London.” No word on a when a new Yeah Yeah Yeahs album might be released or what shape it will take ... but it's good to know that something is happening.
