The Shins Announce New Album, Port of Morrow

The Shins will release their new album Port of Morrow in March via Aural Apothecary and Columbia Records. The band doesn't have an exact release date yet, but are saying that we can expect it's arrival somewhere vaguely March-ish, with Shins tour info due shortly. The band's current live lineup will continue, which is James Mercer (vocals, guitar), Yuuki Matthews (bass), Jessica Dobson (guitar), Richard Swift (keyboards) and Joe Plummer (drums). Port of Morrow was produced by Greg Kurstin, mixed by Rich Costey, and recorded in U.S. hotspots Portland and Los Angeles over the past year.
