Good news for those visiting the Radiohead tour in 2012 ... you're likely to hear new Radiohead songs: "We're trying to keep it creative. We've got new songs, we've been rehearsing about four or five new songs this week so we're going to try and take those on the road. It feels really good," said guitarist Ed O'Brien when speaking to XFM's Mary Anne Hobbs.
Radiohead singer Thom Yorke said the same thing back in October when in the U.S., speaking to Rolling Stone: "We can get things together quite rapidly at the moment," talking about a new song titled "Come to Your Senses." "We have this version of it. It's a five-minute rehearsal, but it has the essence of what we need. There are a few of those. It would be fun to have them ready when we go to play next year. I don't know how we would release them."
So all this in addition to the first big run of Radiohead King of Limbs shows in the U.S. Radiohead is due to release "The Daily Mail" and "Staircase" - next week, The tracks have been making a run on streaming music site Deezer, so people outside the U.S. can find and preview the songs there. For those of us in the U.S., Deezer hasn’t launched here (yet). You can also check out new video of the Radiohead From The Basement DVD wit the freshly arrived version of the song - “Supercolllider.”
