The new Air album titled Le Voyage Dans La Lune will arrive on Feb. 7 via Astralwerks, with the song "Sonic Armada," which is now available as a video, as CoS points out.

"Sonic Armada" sets a nice tone for Le Voyage Dans La Lune, it sounds like it’s going to be a great album. It’s inspired by the film Le Voyage Dans La Lune by Georges Méliès, and translates to "A Trip to the Moon" in English. Air originally created a 14-minute soundtrack to a short film, but eventually turned it into a full album of material.

"'A Trip to the Moon' is undoubtedly more organic than most of our past projects. We wanted it to sound 'handmade and knocked together', a bit like Méliès' special effects. Everything is played live and like Méliès' film, our soundtrack is nourished by living art," said Nicolas Godin.
