Flaming Lips famously went all out on their cover of Dark Side of the Moon in it's entirety in both the release of an album and a tour, could the same be said for their new cover of "I Am the Walrus" by The Beatles? The Flaming Lips launch into a full-on, distortion-soaked version of "I Am the Walrus," in their studio, complete with some sort of plastic device to modify the sound of Wayne Coyne's vocals. Although the idea of a full-on Flaming Lips Beatles tribute album is wild speculation at this point, but "I Am the Walrus" is good video fun for the middle of a work day. The reworked version of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, was eventually packaged as an album before the Flaming Lips took it on the road, including a stop at All Tomorrow's Parties "Don't Look Back" series to play it in full. The Lips worked with Stardeath and the White Dwarfs on the project, and it features appearances by both Peaches and Henry Rollins.
