Zola Jesus Remixed by David Lynch, Hear It Now

There's a new David Lynch remix out for the Zola Jesus song "In Your Nature," in which he applies his "Lynchian" cinematic vision to an already surreal soundscape of Zola Jesus' music. David Lynch picked the song himself off of the album Conatus. Recording label Sacred Bones offered this take on the song "Mr. Lynch was presented with a copy of Zola Jesus’ 2011 release, Conatus, and handpicked this track to remix. The term “remix”, however, is an understatement here. He rebuilt the track from scratch keeping only her signature vocals in tact; replacing the tension building strings with delicately crafted guitar and drum parts, written and performed by himself and engineer Dean Hurley. What was once a dance track becomes a lurching, cinematic masterpiece."
