Are you hooked on the new Spotify Radio? Are all of your Spotify playlists essential to your weekly music existence? Have you been building a Spotify app based on their new platform? You might have to pony up a small monthly Spotify subscription fee or deal with usage limitations. We're soon approaching the end of the free Spotify trial period that lets you stream unlimited amounts of music.

This isn't a new thing, Spotify announced on its launch that there would be a free trial period, so it's not like the idea wasn't already out there. It should be noted that the trial period begins on your own start date, so you get six months of free Spotify streaming based on whenever you signed up. It's just that we're now approaching the end of the 6 months of free Spotify use that started with the Spotify launch back in July. Spotify also has three levels of service: Spotify Premium for $10 a month, Spotify Unlimited for $5 a month, and a basic Spotify for free that comes with ads, and the limited streaming after six months. Spotify Premium is the only one that allows you to use the mobile app.

Check out more about Spotify and steaming music sites in the Spacelab Streaming Music Guide.
