The Cure tour for 2012 will add three new festival appearances, which include the Hultsfred festival in Sweden as well as the Hurricane Festival and Southside Festival, both of which are in Germany. That's not all apparently, as the band is saying that they'll announce a "series of major European festivals this Summer." More to come.
There's no mention of whether or not these shows will fall in line with the "Reflections" shows they did in London, Los Angeles and New York last year. The Reflections shows featured The Cure playing three vintage albums in full, namely Three Imaginary Boys, Seventeen Seconds and Faith. They've also recently released a live album titled The Cure : Bestival Live 2011, which is of course taken from their show at last year's Bestival.
