Check out the reinvention of De La Soul as First Serve ... It's a great reimagining of some of the influences of De La Soul in a modern vibe. It's only 2/3 of De La Soul -- Dave Jolicoeur and Kelvin Mercer, better known as Plug 1 and Plug 2, but it's hard not to think of De La Soul when listening to this. It's an evolving project that seems to consist the track “Pushin’ Aside and Pushin Along” and a lot of animated GIFs. Hopefully there's more songs to come.
