Good news ... the Sasquatch! Music Festival is due to announce its lineup for 2012 in early February, with a lineup announcement party. Right now it's all just Sasquatch rumors for the lineup, and favorites being dropped so far include Radiohead (of course), The Cure and Bjork as well as the possibility of five stages.

Stay up to date on music festivals in 2012 with the Spacelab Festival Guide.

As far as Sasqatch! rumors go, The Cure right now will be at the Pink Pop festival in Holland on May 26 but is otherwise open and seems to be on a music festival bender this year. Bjork is lining up festivals in 2012 also, and also is open at this point with only being at the Sonar Festival in May. Radiohead , the perrinial rumor favorite for any festival lineup, smashed the Coachella rumors with a headlining spot, and Radiohead is indeed open with no known dates in May right now. Any of these have the potential to be Sasquatch headliners.

You can buy tickets right now for the Sasquatch! "Launch Party," and it happens on Thursday, Feb. 2 at the Neptune Theatre in Seattle. It includes performances by Junip (with Jose Gonzalez), Matthew Caws of Nada Surf, The Physics and will be hosted by Luke Burbank. You can usually buy tickets for the Sasquatch! Festival after the lineup is announced, so Friday Feb. 3 is a good bet to buy Sasquatch tickets, but that's also just a rumor until festival organizers make a lineup announcement.

So here's the skinny on the 2012 Sasquatch! Festival: the dates are May 25 - 28, a.k.a. Memorial Day weekend for 2012. Check out the Spacelab Festival Guide for more information on the Sasquatch! Festival 2012 lineup, tickets, and video, and other details. Check out video footage from Sasquatch!, before and after the event, at the Spacelab Media Player.
