Roxy Music is going meta on top of meta with Roxy Music: The Complete Studio Recordings 1972-1982 in honor of the 40th anniversary of the phenomenon we like to call Roxy Music. Eight CDs, 4 DVDs and whole lotta Roxy Music lovin' goin' on. The Complete Studio Recordings 1972-1982 comes out on Apr. 2 via Virgin Records and will include the albums Roxy Music, For Your Pleasure, Stranded, Country Life, Siren, Manifesto, Flesh and Blood, and Avalon alongside high quality DVD recordings of those albums as well. But wait, there's more! The press release also says that there are more Roxy Music reissues coming this year, and will be announced at a later time.
The Complete Studio Recordings will also include music never released on CD, before, like 7" remixes of "Do The Strand," "Love Is The Drug," "Take A Chance With Me;" there are also versions of The Thrill of it All" and b-side "Your Application's Failed;" and 7" single versions of "Oh Yeah" and Avalon."
