Bon Iver is the musical guest on Saturday Night Live tonight, and Channing Tatum is the host. In this video, Justin Vernon of Bon Iver does the Saturday Night Live promo spots, which consist of Channing Tatum doing most of the talking, Kristen Wiig doing some of the  talking, and Justin Vernon and the rest of Bon Iver just chillin'. I guess when you’re the musical guest the music says it all. Check back tomorrow for more Bon Iver Saturday Night Live footage, including performances.

Justin Vernon told USA TODAY that he's currently working with Alicia Keys: "I have a big idea to do an American songbook of the greatest women singers. There are so many: Casey [Dienel] from White Hinterland, Bonnie Raitt, Alicia," he said. Billboard also reported that Vernon is working with the Chieftans and the Flaming Lips.
