of Montreal performed “Dour Percentage” on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night, off of their new album Paralytic Stalks. "Paralytic Stalks may be some of Barnes' darkest material to date, touching on topics such as self-hatred, revenge, human existence, his relationship with wife Nina, and others that illustrate an emotionally raw character," reads a statement from Polyvinyl Records. Influences include modern classical, neo-prog, pseudo-country, and 60's pop. Paralytic Stalks was recorded at Kevin Barnes home studio in Athens, GA, before moving the effort to Chase Park Transduction and bringing in Drew Vandenburg.
