The Noise Pop Music Festival happened last week, culminating over the weekend into a series of live music and film screenings happening in San Francisco (check out 5 videos from the film festival). The Flaming Lips performed a show of epic proportions, performing the album The Soft Bulletin in full at Bimbo's 365. Imagine the possibilites ... the full-on Flaming Lips live show and everything that goes with it, in a small club setting. Some videos are in HD -- click on the "Change quality" button on the video player to change quality settings for faster download. And props to jsandler1 for the awesome, awesome, AWESOME quality video and shooting.

Check out more by clicking on the five different "VIEW" links above to watch the five songs. For best playback performance, press the stop button on a video before watching a new one.

Noise Pop started in 1993 as a one night deal with 5 bands in a small club, but has grown over time to include multiple days, multiple locations, film screenings, panels, and art. Noise Pop bands include the Flaming Lips doing a boombox experiment, Frank Black and the Catholics doing Pixies songs, Death Cab For Cutie, 16 Deluxe, and more. Find out more about the Noise Pop Music Festival in the Spacelab Festival Guide.
