Bob Mould Signs to Merge for New Album This Fall

Fresh off of his appearance at the Noise Pop Music Festival In San Francisco (where he played the classic Sugar album Copper Blue in full, see the video) comes the news that Bob Mould has signed on to Merge Records for the release of a new album this Fall. Mould has a new band with Jon Wurster (Superchunk, the Mountain Goats) and Jason Narducy (Telekinesis, Robert Pollard band). In the meantime Bob Mould is currently at the SXSW Music festival and will continue touring for the Sugar album Copper Blue.
