Kevin Shields when speaking to Mojo about the long-awaited new My Bloody Valentine album and EP, both due out this year. The full-length album is a set of tracks that My Bloody Valentine recorded in their heyday but sat idle until recently.

After that comes an EP of tracks that will be recorded this year. Shields is ALSO working on the remastered versions of the classics Loveless and Isn’t Anything, on which he had this to say to NME: “I can honestly say the new version is much better. Back in '88 we didn't have much control, and it was mastered real quick – '(When You Wake) You're Still in a Dream' in particular came out way too quiet. Being able to fix those little faults was great.”
