Watch Andrew Bird on Jimmy Kimmel - “Give It Away” and “Eye-on-Eye” (video)

Andrew Bird performed “Give It Away” and “Eye-on-Eye” on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night. The Jimmy Kimmel appearance was to promote his latest album Break It Yourself, released earlier this year on Mom + Pop Records, and is the latest full length release from Andrew Bird and the newest since his Noble Beast release in 2009. He took a bit of a new turn on this album, in the way it was written and recorded. The approach was not hurried and turned out to be a much better experience for Bird, both in the recorsing process and the output. He alluded to the this in a recent interview with Gothamist, saying "I don't know how detectable that is. You hear it on "Eyeoneye" you hear it on "Lusitania"...and the way it was recorded was kind of unprecedented for me, and way more relaxed."
