Citing influences as broad as Jesus and Mary Chain, The Pixies, Sleater-Kinney, The Breeders, and Juliana Hatfield; Fawn know how to do more than just fawn over some of the great names in 1990’s alternative music as well as indie rock in the 2000’s. Their indie pop sound is rooted in the verse-chorus-verse aesthetic we all know and love, they also use vocal harmonies to create a bright sound. “Pixels” is part of a single from the Detroit (DEE-troit!) based band that’s being released by Quite Scientific Records before the band’s full-on release Coastlines on June 12th. In the meantime, hit up Fawn on Soundcloud for more music.
