Watch Sigur Ros - "Fjögur Píanó" (NSFW video)

The new NSFW Sigur Ros video for "Fjögur Píanó" off of the album Valtari. This builds on their previous video release from a few weeks ago, but the video for "Fjogur Piano" goes in a COMPLETELY different direction ... namely that it stars Shia LaBeouf in explicit but artistic scenes. The video was written and directed by Alma Har'el. This is reminiscent (but in a completely different way) of the last Sigur Ros NSFW video. To me Sigur Ros' music is best portrayed when accompanied with some sort of imagery or film. And regardless it still conjures up images in my head even if it is not accompanied by music. Although it's Sigur Ros staple factor, it's also a culprit as to why their music always sounds the same. Check out our review of Valtari.

Still the band thinks Valtari is a good album that stands the test of time: "I really can’t remember why we started this record, I no longer know what we were trying to do back then. I do know session after session went pear-shaped, we lost focus and almost gave up...did give up for a while. But then something happened and form started to emerge, and now i can honestly say that it’s the only Sigur Rós record I have listened to for pleasure in my own house after we’ve finished it." - Georg
