Late night TV gets good when Tom Waits will perform songs from his album Bad As Me on David Letterman (July 9) and Jimmy Fallon (July 10). Anti- Records says that "musicians joining Waits on stage include his son Casey Waits on drums, long time bassist Larry Taylor, guitarist David Hidalgo, keyboardist Augie Myers and guitarist Big Bill Morganfield."

Perfume Genius have added more shows to their tour for September. Find out more and watch their La Blogotheque performance.

William Elliott Whitmore is touring behind his album Field Songs this Fall, and tickets go on sale this Friday. Some shows are with singer/songwriter Samantha Crain.

No Age are jumping in on an anti-Walmart rally on June 29th, which "comes on the heels of an alleged bribery scandal in Mexico, a report on abuses at Walmart’s distribution centers, and recent cloak-and-dagger PR techniques, as well as a long history of failure to pay their employees a living wage, provide adequate benefits or recognize associates’ right to organize." Other bands include Tearist and LA Fog. The effort is due to Walmart getting a permit for a Chinatown store before the LA City council banned chain stores from the area, and it seems that there's deals in smoke-filled rooms happening. The big rally is on June 30.

Yoko Ono, Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore are collaborating on a new project called YOKOKIMTHURSTON in September, and The Guardian is running a live video of their recent performance.

Steve Aoki has a tour rider (just like anyone else) that includes free hotels rooms, free liquor, cake and clothes; plus his famous inflatable boat. Check out the full rider.
