Thurston Moore and Samara Lubelski's new music project Chelsea Light Moving have a new song called “Groovy & Linda” out today off of their upcoming (taking shape now) album release. Check out or review of the previous Chelsea Light Moving track "Burroughs," Check out the Matador Records drop on the context of the song, which portrays the idealism of late 60s NYC East Village hippie idealism and Groovy and Linda as a sort of Bonnie and Clyde of the scene: "Groovy was the boy born James Leroy Hutchinson from modest American means and Linda was Linda Fitzpatrick, she from a privileged nuclear household, both runaways to the lysergic pulchritude of peace, love and marijuana."
