A new Arcade Fire album is due next year, according to the Arcade Fire Tube Twitter. Known as the go-to place on Twitter to get Arcade Fire information (not an official one, but has a good reputation and history), they let loose over the weekend by saying "BREAKING! New Arcade Fire album coming next year, Mercury Records has confirmed." The new Arcade Fire album has been under wraps for a while and will be the follow up to their massive release The Suburbs, that propelled the band from semi-undergound status to an above ground, well-known band. This coincided with the "Scenes From the Suburbs" movie and the famous Coachella Festival appearance last year.
